Church of England’s Professional Qualification for Headship 2018: Deadline 30th November 2017
For All CofE School Headteachers:
The Altius Teaching School alliance are an official partner provider for the Church of England’s Professional Qualification for Headship 2018.
The Church of England foundation for education leadership have just reminded us that the deadline for applications for their NPQH is this Thursday 30th November.
This is an opportunity for school leaders who are preparing for headship as well as headteachers who have not yet completed the NPQH to invest in their development. The Church of England’s qualification will enable you to lead with vision, skill and in a way that brings ‘fullness to life’ to the children that you serve.
For those of you working in opportunity areas or category 5/6 schools the government are offering full scholarship funding. The Foundation of Educational Leadership are also offering bursaries- please see this application form.
If you would like more info about the programme:
– hear what last year’s participants said in a video,
– read Emma Trenier, Head of Programmes blog on why the Church of England’s vision for education matters
– listen to James Townsend, Director, talking about becoming a NPQH provider in his latest radio interview (1 min.42.55).
If you would like to apply but would like to discuss further you can contact Richard Tyson (email@example.com) at Bennett Memorial School or contact Emma Trenier who is the head of programmes for the C of E foundation for educational leadership (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you or a colleague are interested but are unable to apply by 30th November please also contact Richard or Emma to register your interest.
Please also think carefully about whether your deputy or another school leader you know would benefit from this programme.
